Delta Ridge RV Park
Forrest City, Arkansas 72335
Telephone number 870-270-9445
This campground is located off of I-40 Exit 241A. It is southbound of I-40. After exiting and heading south the first stop light you should see an Exxon Station and McDonalds on the right side of the road. Make a right at the light, go past the Ole Saw Mill Café towards the Food Giant grocery store. Immediately past the Ole Saw Mill Café make a right and proceed a little way past the back of the café and you drive right into the RV park.
Why are we mentioning this campground? Because if you are travelling from Knoxville towards Little Rock Arkansas this is a great stop over point to get some rest. We usually stop at the designated rest area off I-40 in Forrest City Arkansas to get rest before heading onto Branson Missouri. On the trip back from Branson we stopped at the rest area late at night and found the heat to be unbearable. A Google search brought up Delta Ridge RV Park. A call to the office revealed that they were closed but did offer a self-service pay station.
Upon arriving we learned that the campground offers full hookups including the following, 30 amp., power for $25.00 per night, 50 amp., Power for $35.00 per night. Each price also includes sewer, water and wifi hookup. There are no bathroom facilities.
There is a small barn like storage building that serves as the office. Beware if you arrive late at night you may want to use mosquito repellant. While standing on the porch filling out the self-service envelope we were attacked by mosquitos!
There are approximately 25 sites. Sites 1 thru 7 are pull thru, sites 8 thru 14 are back in only, sites 15 thru 25 are pull thru. All the sites appear to be fairly level. We stayed in site 21 and did not have to use leveling blocks.
