3 lbs. of Beef Bones
1 Large Onion cut in half
2 Bay Leaves
2 Garlic Cloves
Bunch of fresh herbs such as Rosemary, Thyme, and Basil
Bottled or purified water
Take the Bones, rinse them and put them on a roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees in an oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and put the bones in the crock pot. Fill with water and add the onion, garlic and herbs. Turn the crock pot on high for two hours then reduce to medium and cook for three days. You may need to add water periodically.
After three days, strain off the juice thru a mesh strainer or cheese cloth into Large Mason jars. It should yield about 5 large Mason jars. Discard the bones, onion, garlic and herbs.
Let cool for about 20 minutes with lids on. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use. When you open a jar discard the layer of fat on top. Heat a small coffee cup up and drink.
